Right2Work is a subsidiary of the Oaklea Trust, which helps disabled and disadvantaged people discover their potential and lead a fulfilling, independent life. Right2Work started as a partnership with South Lakeland District Council to collect unwanted bulky household items, such as furniture and appliances. The project isn’t just about collections; it’s also about recycling and reusing donated items. A number of disabled people also attend the project to help develop vocational and social skills.
‘Look out for Furniture Warehouse Man out and about on the Right2Work van. We are soon to be hosting a competition featuring Furniture Warehouse Man and your donated furniture items.’
